Ghana’s second-tier side Asokwa Deportivo FC has officially announced the appointment of former Kotoko gaffer Stephen Frimpong Manso as the new head coach.
Manso’s appointment follows management’s decision to groom and unearth players for the market and also place a respectable position on the league table after the 2020/21 season.
After fruitful negotiations between the two parties on Monday, Manso will manage the outfit till the end of the season but will have an option to renew his contract based on performance.
Coach Frimpong Manso, who holds CAF Licence A in football coaching signed a short-term contract with the outfit. The club has confirmed and will soon make his announcement public.
He previously managed Karela United, Asante Kotoko SC and Nkoranza Warriors SC.
