Karela United recorded their first-ever victory since the start of the Ghana Premier League second round after beating Bechem United in matchweek 23 fixture on Sunday.
Prior to the game, Karela had gone five games without a win, recording three draws and two defeats.
However, Diawisie Taylor who had gone six games without a goal opened the scoring on the 18th-minute at the Crosby Awuah Park but the lead did not last as the Hunters pulled parity 12 minutes later through Kofi Agbesimah.
The first-half ended level pegging with Bechem looking to get a point in an away fixture for the first time in five games.
Unfortunately, the Hunters could not hold on to the draw as Reginald Thompson scored what turned out to be the winning goal for the home side.
Diawisie Taylor after scoring has taken his goal tally to 12 goals in the league this season more than any other player.
Karela United with the win has climbed back into the top four with 37 points while Bechem United sits 7th with 33 points.
