Ashantigold SC have handed two-week suspension to two players over issues of indiscipline, Pure FM reports.
The duo, Kwadwo Amoako and Samed Ibrahim are the culprits after reportedly walking out of interim boss Thomas Duah during their matchweek 23 Ghana Premier League game against Eleven Wonders at the Len Clay Stadium last Sunday.
Amoako and Samed were said to have gotten angry after a last-minute equalizer from Wonders which got the players furious and walked straight to the dressing room. The punishment, per the reports, indicate that it is to preserve order and discipline within the Obuasi-based outfit.
They have since been hugely criticized by the media for their actions resulting in a two-week suspension by the management of the club.
Ashantigold are currently on the 10th position on the league log with 31 points after 23 games.
