Legon Cities talisman, Hans Kwofie, says the Royals need nothing but a win against Liberty Professionals on Wednesday, May 12 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Cities are in the drop zone, 16th, with 23 points and would need a win to overtake Liberty who are just two points above the former.
Legon Cities could also have another an advantage to in their quest to staying in the Ghanaian first tier regarding their called-off match against Ebusua Dwarfs.
Although, the GFA is yet to take a decision whether or not the game will be replayed, Cities were in the lead before the match was halted and could earn themselves three points because they were not the cause of the cancellation but rather the Dwarfs fans.
Kwofie, however, wants to win Liberty’s fixture which he believes is more important than GFA’s decision on the game against Ebusua Dwarfs.
“We are going all out to win this three points because we don’t know the outcome of the Dwarfs game which mean we are still in the relegation zone so we need to win this game to move from there. Then if the GFA decides to either let us replay the game or give us the points then we will be comfortable. So I think we have no option to win this three points,“ he said in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
The game is set for 6PM kick off time
