Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder George Asamoah is sure of victory over Asante Kotoko in their matchday 24 fixture of the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupines will host the Crabs at the Len Clay Stadium on Thursday afternoon and Asamoah believes they have a strong team to carry the day ahead of Mariano Barreto’s men.
“Asante Kotoko is placed first on the league standings whilst we are on the 12th position. We dominated and played very well in the first leg even though our team had not gelled well then” he said as quoted by Sportsashkuz.com.
“I man-marked Fabio and was out of the game to the extent that their coach changed him. I will do the same this time around and he would not like playing against me. We are aware of our qualities as Ebusua Dwarfs. Anything is possible in football and the same way Asokwa Deportivo defeated Kotoko in Obuasi, we can also do the same. We won’t leave Obuasi with a defeat” He concluded.
George Asamoah has been in splendid form this season, starting 22 games except for one in which he was out due to card accumulation.
The central midfielder has made 3 assists and scored a goal from a defensive midfield position and have won three man of the match awards.
