Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim following his splendid performance last Sunday against King Faisal at the Accra Sports Stadium has earned a place in the Africa Soccer Zone Team of the Week.
The diminutive midfielder had an excellent game for the Phobians when they defeated the Insha Allah boys 2-0 in a Ghana Premier League matchweek 23.
The 21-year-old lasted the entire duration of the game and where he was involved in the first goal scored by Obeng Junior and teed up Afriyie Barnieh to score the second goal.
Salifu’s stupendous display has earned him global applause and as a result of that has been named among the best eleven players in Africa for this week by Africa Soccer Zone.
The former Eleven Wonders man has been in a tremendous form since the beginning of this season, providing six assists with two goals and seven MVP awards.
