Hearts of Oak midfielder, Daniel Kodie has successfully undergone his surgery in South Africa.
The medical team at the Netcare Linksfield Hospital-South Africa led by the experienced surgeon, Dr. McCready completed the surgery for the player on Friday, May 14, 2021.
The player who is recuperating is expected to return to Ghana after a week to continue with his rehabilitation program at the Blue Valley medical Centre.
Looking very cheerful and beaming with lots of smiles after the surgery, Kodie expressed his greatest gratitude to Hearts of Oak and especially to the Board Chairman for ensuring that he received the best of medical care which will resurrect his playing career.
“I am grateful to Hearts and especially to the Board Chairman. I really appreciate his support because without that my career would have ended abruptly. I will forever be grateful to him and promise to remain loyal to this club. This is the greatest thing that has happened to my career”.
“ I also thank the medical team here and I will be committed to the rehabilitation instructions that will be required to complete the healing process. Am optimistic to get back to the team to contribute my quota to the success of the club”.
