Elimina Sharks could not cause any havoc at the Accra Sports Stadium as the Phobians scored two second half goals to beat the visitors 2-0.
The Phobians were in the mid-week piped Bechem United at the Ofosu Gyabour Park and consolidated it by beating Elimina Sharks.
As usual of the Phobians, they opened up the game, covering lots of space and dominating play with Sharks having little impact on the game.
Hearts of Oak could have taken lead in the first half but Victor Aidoo stood up and wasted a glorious penalty. The were plenty of actions before the close of the first half.
The second half was the defining moment for the home side. After scintillating play, the Phobians go the breakthrough through Isaac Mensah in the 66th minute. Glorious opportunities fell their way could not make it out.
Benjamin Affutu cushioned the Phobians lead in the 83rd to condemn Elimina Sharks to a defeat.
