The 2020/21 Women’s FA Cup Round of 16 draw has been held after shocking results in the round of 32 eliminated some Premier League clubs.
Fabulous Ladies failed to progress to the round of 16 after losing 3-0 to Lower tier side Dreamz Ladies. Supreme Ladies also with a lone goal eliminated Kumasi Sports Academy from the prestigious competition.
The draw which was live on Maxx TV was held on Tuesday, 18th May, 2021 at the Premises of the Ghana Football Association.
Communication Director for the FA Henry Asante Twum with ExCO Member Madam Habiba Attah and Edna, Committee Member for the Women’s FA Cup made the draw colorful as they ensured a balance pairing.
Some regions will witness derbies as Ashtown Ladies will call on for Supreme Ladies test at the Wesco park with Pearlpia Ladies trekking to Sunyani to face their Premier League counterpart Prisons Ladies.
In Tamale, Northern Ladies will face FC Savannah in a regional derby for the slot to the next stage.
Police Ladies will host Hasaacas Ladies in Accra.
