Despite the competition between them for a place in the side, Medeama striker Prince Opoku Agyemang says there’s no beef between himself and teammate Amed Toure as speculated in the media in recent weeks.
Reports are rife in the media that the two strikers are not in good talking terms hence the club’s woes in recent weeks in the Ghana premier league.
However, this led to the supporters of the club storming their training grounds on Wednesday morning during the team’s training session at the Akoon Park.
He said that; “I have no issue with Toure [Amed] as being speculated in the media. They are saying I don’t even pass the ball to him during matches but that’s not true. Toure is a good friend and as a professional player why should I have an issue with my teammate at this crucial hour,” he told Kumasi-based Pure FM.
Medeama SC are lying 4th on the league log with 40 points, five points adrift league leaders Asante Kotoko.
