The game ended 2-2 on aggregate with Coton having won the first leg 1-0 in Garoua last weekend.
The Cameroonian side which has finished twice before in continental competition will keep the dream alive as they look to book a slot in yet another final. They face off with JS Kabilye in the last four.
Coton broke the deadlock in the 21st minute through Sibiri Sanou, but the home side equalized in the 33rd minute through Albert Diene before Pape N’Diaye doubled their lead in the second half.
The visitors got themselves the precious away goal when Sanou smashed the ball home from the edge of the box after a sweeping team move that he had initiated. They had started brightly with N’Diaye forcing the keeper to a great save with a header from point blank.
But the hosts gave a fight and were level after 33 minutes when Diene volleyed the ball home from inside the box when Bouly Sambou’s effort at goal was deflected.
They kept piling the pressure and five minutes to the break, Coton keeper Narcisse Nlend made a good save to keep out Diene’s shot from a Ousmane Mbengue cross.
In the second half, Jaraaf kept the pressure and they were 2-1 up in the 55th minute when N’Diaye picked up a long ball before shooting between the keeper’s legs on the half turn. With belief, they continued to attack and thought they had the all-important goal in the 67th minute, but N’Diaye’s lob over the keeper was ruled out for offside.
The home side searched and hunted for that lone goal to send them through, but Coton defended with their hearts.
