Tano Bofoakwa FC head coach, Ibrahim Mohammed has disclosed the driving force to the Lower tier side recent performance in the National Division One League.
The former Ghana Premier League side having spend over a decade in the country’s wilderness are set to make a sensational return to the top-flight. Early this season, the club appointed ex-Nkoranza Warriors SC trainer Ibrahim Mohammed to head their technical team for a period of three years.
The club have shown commitment under the new gaffer who is close to securing them the Premiership ticket this season. Tano Bofoakwa currently sit second in Division One League Zone One with 40 points after 21 league games.
Nine games remaining to end the season but the trainer believe they can end the season top of the Zone despite Real Tamale United sitting above them with 44 points.
Speaking in an interview with Kolog Bonaventure, he said the club is walking on interference free system since the start of the campaign and is driving them to height they deserve.
According to him, he made it known to the Management to offer him an independent space where he can work to end the club thirteen years stay in the Division One League.
“Every coach has his style of getting his results and philosophy, he draws his own plan for games and knows tactically better than the Management” When he’s left independently he will surely deliver with his technical bench”
“Coming to Tano Bofoakwa, I pleaded to be left alone and not be disturbed with interference and that’s what has driven us to this stage of the competition”Though it hasn’t being easy but we pulling with our last strength”, Coach Ibrahim Mohammed said.

“The best is to leave a coach independently because what he understands with the technical team is ahead of the Management team, they will only end up draining the team”, he concluded.
