Ghanaian midfielder Malik Akowuah believe it’s early to acclaim Ghana Premier League giant’s Accra Hearts of Oak SC will clinch the 2020/21 Premier League title.
The Continental Club Masters have being in a sensational form since appointing Ghanaian trainer Samuel Boadu from Medeama Sporting Club mid this season. Coach Samuel Boadu quickly inculcated his technical prowess which he was using with the Mauves and Yellow outfit to the Phobias after he was appointed.
His journey with the club have being phenomenal despite some fall-outs after losing 2-0 to Dreams FC in Dawu.
Hearts of Oak SC under Coach Boadu have gone four games unbeaten, consecutive wins in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign. The performance has pushed them top of the league with arch rivals Asante Kotoko SC sitting behind them.
Both teams have accumulated 46 points after match day 26 fixture. But due to goal difference, Hearts of Oak SC sit above them.
Former Hearts of Oak SC and Medeama Sporting Club defensive midfielder Malik Akowuah has opined that, it’s too early for one to judge either Accra Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko SC as winner’s of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
“Hearts of Oak are in good form and watching some of their games, I can say things are moving on well with them”Should they push a little more they can clinch this season’s league title”
“But it’s too early to say either Hearts of Oak SC or Asante Kotoko SC will win this years league”, Malik Akowuah told Kumasi based Wontumi FM.
“Considering the points gathered by both teams and the remaining games, the season have to travel a little before we can all see clearly which team will win the title”
Asante Kotoko SC this weekend will play as guest to Aduana Stars whiles Hearts of Oak SC host Berekum Chelsea FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
