Matchweek 27 of the Ghana Premier League brought us enthralling results across the various match centers.
Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko played out a 0-0 draw. Hearts of Oak defeated Berekum Chelsea 2-0 to extend their lead at the top, Inter Allies Allies thrashed Medeama 3-0, whiles Legon Cities mined out a 1-0 victory against AshantiGold in Obuasi.

KARELA UNITED 1-1 GREAT OLYMPICS
Karela United and Great Olympics played out an entertaining 1-1 draw at the Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) park. The home side started the game the brighter side and opened the scoring in the 6th minute from the spot kick, Diawiasie Taylor sent the goalkeeper the wrong way. Great Olympics started to dominate the game and came close twice in the 17th and 20th minute, Joshua Rhule forced goalkeeper Richard Baidoo into making two good saves. Olympics pulled parity in the 44th minute, Razak Kasim after a good run from the half way line laid a good pass to Samuel Ashie Quaye who hammered the ball past Richard Baidoo. Karela controlled the entire second half, but it was Olympics who came the closest to scoring in the half through Maxwell Abbey.

ADUANA STARS 0-0 ASANTE KOTOKO
Aduana Stars and Asante Kotoko ground out a drab goalless draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu park. The first half of the game was intense but ended scoreless. Aduana Stars came the closest to scoring in the 36th minute, Razak Abalora pulled off a great save to deny Sam Adams from scoring. Both sides in the opening minutes of the second half passed the ball around beautifully but failed to force any of the goalkeepers into making a good save. Aduana came close to scoring in the 77th minute, Razak Abalora dealt with a free kick from Farouk Adams. Minutes later, Asante Kotoko also came close through Evans Adomako. His pile driver from the edge of the box was pushed out for a corner by Joseph Addo. Referee added 6 minutes of additional time, but none of the two sides could grab a goal as it ended scoreless.

LIBERTY PROFESSIONALS 2-1 DREAMS
Liberty Professionals came from a goal down to beat Dreams FC 2-1 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope and move out of the relegation zone. Dreams FC opened the scoring in 2nd minute, Agyenim Boateng combined perfectly with Percious Boah to give his side the lead. Just minutes into the second half, Liberty Professionals were awarded a spot kick after Kweku Karikari was fouled, Abraham Wayo stepped up and converted the kick. Liberty Professionals stole all 3 points with a goal in the 75th minute, Maxwell Ansah finished off a good pass from Kweku Karikari.

INTER ALLIES 3-0 MEDEAMA
Inter Allies defeated Medeama 3-0 to increase their chances of survival. The first 45 minutes of the game ended scoreless, with Inter Allies seeing more of the ball. Inter Allies continued the second half in similar fashion and opened the scoring in the 71st, Andy Okpe scored a header. The Eleven is to One side doubled their lead in the 89th through Nafiu Sulemana. Few minutes later, Naffiu Sulemana rounded the game off with a beautiful curler, 3-0.

WAFA 2-1 EBUSUA DWARFS
WAFA scored late to beat Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 and continue their impressive form. The first 45 minutes of the game ended scoreless, with both sides failing to put their footprint on the game. WAFA started the second half the brighter side and opened the scoring in the 54th minute through Enoch Asubonteng. Dwarfs drew level in the 78th minute through Richard Addai. WAFA from then stepped their game up and grabbed the winning goal in the 89th minute after Emmanuel Anaful put the ball into his own net.

KING FAISAL 0-1 ELEVEN WONDERS
Eleven Wonders defeated fellow relegation strugglers King Faisal 1-0 to increase their chances of survival. The first half of the game ended scoreless, Eleven Wonders came the closest to scoring through Alex Asamoah. The opening minutes of the second half had a cagey start, with both sides failing to get hold of the game. Eleven Wonders broke the deadlock in the 78th minute through Samuel Boakye. The Techiman-based side in the remaining minutes of the game did enough to earn all 3 points.

BECHEM UNITED 1-1 ELMINA SHARKS
Two sides in bad form shared spoils at the Nana Gyeabor park in Bechem. The first half of the game ended scoreless. The game came to live in the second half, Bechem United opened the scoring in the 64th minute through Benjamin Bernard Boateng with a fine effort. Bechem United stepped their game up and started to pile pressure on Sharks. The pressure paid off when they were awarded a spot kick in the 77th minute, Emmanuel Boakye Owusu stepped up and calmly beat the goalkeeper to make it 1-1. Both sides in the remaining minutes of game pushed men forward with the hope of grabbing the winner but to no avail.

ASHANTIGOLD 0-1 LEGON CITIES
Legon Cities defeated AshantiGold 1-0 at the Len Clay Sports Stadium to move clear away from the relegation zone. The opening minutes of the game was evenly contested, with both sides creating half chances. Legon Cities broke the deadlock in the 39th minute, Issaka Mohammed reacted the quickest to a rebound after goalkeeper Kofi Baah awkwardly kept out a free kick. The second half of the game saw goals but both sides had their own chances, AshantiGold came close through Samed Mohammed, whiles Legon Cities came close through Richmond Antwi and Braimah Forster.

HEARTS OF OAK 2-0 BEREKUM CHELSEA
Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Berekum Chelsea 2-0 to extend their lead on top of the Premier League table. The Phobians after early domination took to the lead in the 10th minute through Benjamin Afutu, he headed in a good crossing from Ibrahim Salifu. Kwame Obeng Jnr made it 2-0 in the 28th minute, he received a short pass from Daniel Afriyie and hit the ball firmly into the net. The second half of the game saw no goals but both sides created some good chances to change the score line.
