Three players for the Ghana Premier League giant’s have earned a call-up to the Black Meteors team for their International friendly against Japan next month.
As part of preparation for Tokyo Olympic Games, Japan has invited the Black Meteors for a double header friendly scheduled for June 4 and June 8, 2021. Few weeks ago, head coach of the Black Meteors, Paa Kwasi Fabian announced a 27-man squad for the friendly.
They are resuming camp this weekend in Accra. However, Management of Accra Hearts of Oak SC who are bent on clinching the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title don’t want to leave any table unturned, asuch refused to release their players.
They sit top of the league with 49 points after beating Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
Goalkeeper Richmond Ayi, Afriyie Barnie from the U-20 fame and inform Salifu Ibrahim are the three players who made it to the Squad for the friendlies.
