Accra Great Olympics captain, Gladson Awako has being released for his side weekend cracker against City rivals Hearts of Oak SC.
The Capital based side will host Accra Hearts of Oak SC on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League match day 28 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Ga Mantse derby will have had Great Olympics play-maker and midfield gem Gladson Awako missing the game due to National team duty.
The former Ghana U-20 star earned a call-up to the Senior National team of Ghana, Black Stars for their International friendly against Morocco and Ivory Coast in Rabat and Cape Coast respectively.
The team resumed training on Wednesday for the double encounter scheduled for Tuesday, May 8 in Rabat before hosting the Elephants on Saturday, May 12 at the Cape Coast stadium.
Following that, head coach of Black Stars Charles Kwablan Akunnor has released Gladson Awako to feature in the cracker and rejoin the Black Stars.
The Ghana Premier League encounter will be played on Sunday. Great Olympics will be hoping to continue their truimph over Hearts of Oak SC having beaten them 2-0 in the first round.
