Asante Kotoko SC has been asked to pay former player and youth team coach, Richard Manu a sum of Gh¢32,000 with the next 14 days.
Manu popularly known as ’90-90′ was appointed the head coach of the Asante Kotoko Youth Team on a five-year deal in 2019.
But he was sacked after only two years in charge of the youth team when new management team headed by Nana Yaw Amponsah took over.
Manu then dragged the Porcupines to the Players’ Status Committee (PSC) to seek justice over unpaid annual signing-on fees and salary arrears during his stint at the Kumasi-based club.
And in their verdict sent to Asante Kotoko today, the PSC of the GFA has ordered the Porcupines to pay the former defender Gh¢20,000 as signing-on fees, Gh¢9,000 as unpaid salaries and Gh¢3,000 as fuel allowances, making Gh¢32,000.00 within the next fourteen (14) days or face the wrath of the FA.
