Black Stars trainer Charles Kwablan Akunnor believe his lads will need to work more on their goal scoring rate after failing to register a goal against Morocco on Tuesday.
Ghana on Tuesday in Rabat, Morocco were beaten by the Moroccan senior national team 1-0 in an International friendly. A second half freekick from the foot of Chelsea FC winger Hakim Ziyech had Goalkeeper Razak Abalora wanting as they registered the only goal of the game.
Speaking at the post match, Coach Charles Kwablan Akunnor highlighted on goal scoring problems having had his side failed to take a shot at target.
“For a long time I have been looking forward to seeing the team play with understanding where everyone knows his role on the pitch”
”With this I saw some good signs but we need to improve in that area and try as much as we can because it’s meaningless to play without scoring”
“So we want to improve and do well and also score goals.” He said.
Ghana will continue their preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September this weekend when they host Ivory Coast at the Cape Coast Stadium in another friendly encounter.
