Ghana’s promising athlete and staff of leading sports news outlet, ghanasportspage.com, Crissven Yayra Afenyo, affectionately called “FAFA” in private life, has won an award in China for her excellence performance in the just ended 50th Track and Field Sports Meet 2021 competition.
The competition, held by the China Medical University, is an annual sporting event organised by the university for it’s sporting community which involves outstanding athletes of top quality competing for superior positions which places them on professional levels.
At 2021 edition of the 50th Track and Field Meet, Ghana’s talented athlete, FAFA, grabbed gold medal after finishing first in both 200m and 4x100m race.
FAFA has taken the 50th Track and Field Sports Meet events by storm, smashing records, sweeping awards year in year out as she continues her study of Clinical Medicine since her enrollment with China Medical University four years ago.
The Ho Mawuko Girls’ School alumnus the Track and Field Personality award and the Most Outstanding Participant award of the 50th Track and Field Meet events from 2018 to 2019.
The promising athlete also doubles as a talented footballer who features for the school team. FAFA established her versatility on the football pitch, where she scored the highest number of goals in the school’s recently held competition, winning the too scorer award. As multi talented athlete, FAFA made her mark and lifted the flag of Ghana high as she emerged as the Player of the Year 2020 and awarded the Golden Ball.
FAFA is currently in her 4th year as a student of the China Medical University.
