Chief Editor for Asante Kotoko SC Express, Jerome Otchere has rallied support for Black Stars Goalkeeper Razak Abalora despite his howler performance on Tuesday.
The Ghanaian shot stopper was offered the starting berth in Black Stars international friendly game against Morocco after Black Stars first choice Richard Ofori failed to join the team for the friendly due to injury. Report prior to the game confirmed that Ofori sustained a groin injury with his club in the South African league.
Razakk Abalora once again, made a howler outing in the second half which led to Morocco only goal of the game.
The former WAFA and now Asante Kotoko save pair of hands, has come under intensed criticism after failing to make count his arieal duels giving out the three maximum points to Hakim Ziyech’s Morocco.
However, Chief Editor for Asante Kotoko SC Express and General Manager of Fabulousonline. com Jerome Otchere believe there are errors in football but the shot stopper should not be crucified else the attackers who failed to put the balls in opponent nets will also face same or dropped.
“No excuses. Errors are errors but maybe we should be praying that whoever replaces him when he’s dropped never makes errors too lest we will keep dropping and dropping including the strikers who also make horrible errors☹️”
“We will forever remain like that”When it’s not out favourite, we say anything, When it’s our favourite the story is different lol”, he tweeted in response to Owuraku Ampofo twit.
