Turkish trainer Kasim Gökyikliz has officially parted ways with Ghana Premier League side Kumasi King Faisal SC after a short stint.
The 55-year old gaffer joined King Faisal in March this year on a two year contract. The team was struggling and needed a magical hands to survive the battle, however, Kasim Gökyikliz could not stand the test as he tendered in his resignation letter.
The former Ashanti Gold SC tactician has left his position and travelled back to his motherland Turkey.
He posted on his Facebook wall, to announce his resignation and departure from the Ghanaian outfit.
“Hello dear football fans, my time as head coach at King Faisal is over. In fact of two important circumstances I terminated my contract on the 31th of May”Yesterday the 8th of June, I took the flight back to Turkey”
“I would like to thank my players, and technical staff for the good cooperation”
“I would like to thank all the real football fans for their support, those who love football and see it as sport and not anything else”
“Thank you King Faisal for the opportunity to serve you”, he concluded.
He left King Faisal 17th on the league standing.
