Unpleasant news hit the Phobian fraternity last week as Second Chairperson for the National Chapters Committee (NCC), Madam Vicentia Deku’s home was robbed by some unidentified persons.
According to Kumasi-based Fox FM, the alleged robbers broke into her residence to steal some valuable items like three brand new phones, laptops, GHC4,000 made from sales of Umbro jerseys and some pieces of clothes.
Again, her son’s room was also not spared as they took away his flat-screen TV. The robbery is believed to have transpired during the Hearts of oak vs. Accra Great Olympics game which ended 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium last weekend.
During the game, a team led by Madam Vicentia Deku presented a customised Hearts of Oak jersey to Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi whose father turned out for the Phobians in the 80’s.
