Wahid Mohammed of Legon Cities FC have placed behind their 2-0 defeat to Karela United FC on Sunday, turning the focus on their next encounter of the Ghana Premier League.
Legon Cities FC in their match day 30, will host Accra Hearts of Oak SC at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Having suffered a painful lost to Aiyinase based outfit Karela United FC, the lads wants to clinch the deserving three points from Hearts of Oak SC who are contending for the Ghana Premier League title. On Sunday, they smashed Medeama SC 2-0 to maintain the top spot of the league.
Wahid Mohammed at the post match conference, reiterated that his side lacked efficiency at goal failing to utilize their chances which led to their punishment with a 2-0 defeat.
However, he wants his mates to turn their focus to Hearts of Oak SC game which is scheduled for next weekend.

“It’s simply not our day but we need to focus on what’s next of us in the league (against Hearts of Oak). We are proud of the performance of the boys today but obviously, we need to improve in some areas and we will do exactly so in training and be ready for the next challenge.”
“We take it one at a time. We will quickly put this behind us and start preparing for the Hearts game. We respect them but we will make sure, we beat them at our home.”
Wahid on what went wrong leading to their defeat against Karela United: “We made some mistakes that we should have avoided. Those led to the goals we conceded. We will work on them in our next [training] session.”
On Jonah Attuquaye, Asamoah Gyan, Joseph Adjei, Victorien Adebayor and Hans Kwofie absence: “Very good players. We missed them but we don’t build our team around one or two players. No doubt, however, we trust the other players when given the opportunities.”
