Black Queens captain Elizabeth Addo has cried out for International friendlies from the Ghana Football Association as they prepare for the World Cup qualifiers.
The senior national female team of Ghana, Black Queens will partake in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2022 qualifiers. The qualifiers was scheduled to commence in June but was postponed by the CAF Organizing Committee for Women’s football.
This move, which is consistent with the decision to postpone men’s FIFA World Cup 2022 African Qualifiers, is as a result of the constraints posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in Africa and also infrastructure challenges in the continent.
The Black Queens since their qualifiers postponement have lacked preparatory matches.
