The Ghana Premier League giant’s have filed an appeal against the Ghana Football Association following their verdict on former coach Samuel Boadu.
On Monday, the Ghana Football Association Players Status Committee (PSC) announced ruling on Medeama SC former coaches, thus Samuel Boadu and Hamza Obeng. Both Managers left the club to join Hearts of Oak SC mid season despite their struggling moment.
The verdict by the FA says, Samuel Boadu should pay GH₵ 30,000 to Medeama as compensation for unilateral termination of contract.
However, Medeama SC have appeal against the Ghana Football Association on the aforementioned ruling.
“We have filed an appeal against the decision of the Ghana Football Association asking former employee Samuel Boadu to pay the club GH₵ 30,000 as compensation for unilateral termination of his contract”
“The club met its late-Tuesday deadline to challenge the decision of the Player Status Committee”
“The club has taken the decision to appeal against the selective decision of the committee.
We are firm in our resolve that the committee erred in law and failed to apply the rules appropriately”
The club is asking the Appeals Committee to overturn the selective decision of the Player Status Committee and make definitive declarations to restore confidence in the judicial system.
However, the club will not appeal against the decision on former employee Hamza Obeng”, the club statement reads.
