Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko SC have received morale bolster following the return of their reliable defender Ismail Abdul Ganiu.
The center-back has returned to training with a light session after limping off in their last weekend game against Inter Allies FC. Ganiu could not throttle full duration of the game in Dawu after picking up an injury in the course of the encounter where his side fought hard to win 3-2.
Ganiu, was a member of the Black Stars squad that faced Morocco and Ivory Coast in an international friendly last week.
He returned after national duty to feature for the Porcupine Warriors but suffered a minor injury.
However, he has returned to Adako Jachie where the club trains.
He was spotted with Augustine Okrah and striker Andy Kumi Francis who also got sidelined weeks ago.
The trio will be assessed by the medical team on their fitness level as they honor their MTN FA Cup round of 32 game this weekend.
Ismail Ganiu is likely to feature for the Reds when they take on Karela United FC in their next Premier League fixture.
