Belgium giants RSC Anderlecht have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru on a permanent deal following a successful loan deal.
The attacking midfielder joined Anderlecht on a season long loan last season from Red Bull Salzburg having featured in the UEFA Europa League. On Friday, the Belgium giant’s confirmed his permanent deal.
Ashimeru has joined Anderlecht on a four-year deal from Red Bull Salzburg.
He joined the Jupiler Pro League side in January on loan and after excelling in the second half of the season, the technical handlers have trusted his work rate with a permanent deal.
The former WAFA play-maker took to his Facebook page to express his delight after penning down the contract to stay in the Jupiler Pro League for four seasons.

Ashimeru in the second half managed to make 12 league appearances for Anderlecht in all competitions were he scored two goals and provided three assists.
He previously played for Austria Lustenau, Wolfsberger AC and FC St. Gallen all on loan after joining Salzburg in August 2017 from Ghana Premier League side WAFA SC.
