Emmanuel Gyamfi is eligible to feature for Asante Kotoko when the Reds trip to Accra to face rivals Hearts of Oak in the Super Clash on Sunday.
Gyamfi has been charged by the Ghana Football Association Disciplinary Committee for misconduct. The speedy winger deliberately stepped on the foot of Inter Allies midfielder Andy Okpe which was captured live on video.
The Ghana FA after reviewing the incident has referred the player to the Disciplinary Committee for sanctions.
However, Gyamfi in his defence has pleaded not guilty to the offence.
The Disciplinary Committee will, however, sit on the charges levelled against Gyamfi on Tuesday, 29th June for a decision to be made. This means the speedster will be available for selection on Sunday for the Super Clash.
Gyamfi has been influential for the Porcupines in the second round of the season under Mariano Barreto, scoring four goals with four assists.
