Austrian Bundesliga side Wolfsberger AC has signed WAFA and Black Stars midfielder Augustine Boakye on a four-year deal, Ghanasoccernet report.
The mercurial midfielder penned a four year deal with the Austrian giants.
Boakye has been phenomenal for WAFA this season, pulling some incredible numbers thus far. He has netted 7 goals and registered 11 assists with 6 man-of-the-match awards.
The 20-year-old was not in WAFA’s match day squad on Saturday when they lost 6-5 on penalties to Division One League side Young Wise FC in the MTN FA Cup round of 32 tie.
The Black Stars midfielder is expected to join his new club for pre-season next week ahead of the start of the new season.
