Hearts of Oak has officially written to appeal to the Government seeking an increment of more than 25% spectators for the Super Clash game against Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
However, the Government COVID-19 team has quashed and thrown away the Phobians’ appeal.
A close source at the office of Gov’t’s COVID-19 team reveals to Kumasi FM that, “We are yet to receive this officially from the team or the FA, but I can confirm that it will not be considered.”
“When Gov’t takes a decision which is to protect the health of Ghanaians, it is cannot be reversed easily by an appeal from one party just to honour their personal gains, they (Hearts) think Covid is over right? People must be serious in our country, go to the ongoing Euros, all protocols are observed, and that is the same thing we must do here in our country”. He added.
