Aduana Stars remains the only side yet to suffer home defeat in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Dorma side have extended their incredible unbeaten run to 15 games with a comfortable 2-0 win over Dreams FC on Sunday.
Dreams made an early incursions as Precious Boah’s ambitious free kick was saved by Joseph Addo.
The away side continue to hunt for the opener but the Aduana defense remained resolute.
Michael Agbekpornu was beautiful set up by Agyemin Boateng on the 35th minute but the former could not direct his effort on goal.
Aduana turned up in the die embers of the first half and took the lead on the 42nd minute through Sam Adams.
With opening half just about ending, Bright Adjie chanced upon a defensive mishap to double the lead before half time.
Dreams had a dominant performance in the second period as Aduana looked to protect the two goals.
Agyenim connected well with Sadat Mohammed but the latter’s shot was saved by Joseph Addo, keeping the score line intact.
The home side’s defense unit was difficult to break and thus were able to keep the Still Believe lads at bay.
Aduana have now won 11 of their 15 home games drawing the remaining 4.
The Green and Yellows following the win have climbed to 8th on the league log whereas Dreams FC are positioned 5th with 48 points.
