Ashanti Gold were held to a stalemate by West African Football Academy (WAFA) at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Miners and the Academy lads settled for a goalless draw on matchday 31 of the Ghana Premier League.
Both team found it difficult to penetrate each other and thus the opening half saw no goal.
The intensity rose in the early minutes of second half with Ashanti Gold been the better side.
Eric Esso put the host in front right on the 59th minutes but his goal was disallowed for offside.
The tempo then reduced as the away side managed to pick a point.
WAFA following the draw have extended their unbeaten run to three games, winning one of those.
Meanwhile, Ashanti Gold have now recorded their 11th draw of the season and a 5th scoreless draw.
The Miners are 10th with 41 points whereas WAFA lies 6th with 47 points.
Ashanti Gold have a trip to Dorma next weekend to play Aduana Stars.
WAFA, on the other hand, will host relegation battling Inter Allies on matchday 32.
