Asante Kotoko deputy captain, Emmanuel Gyamfi has admitted that Hearts of Oak were the better side in Sunday’s Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians pip the Porcupines 1-0 to record a first Super Clash win since 2017.
The Accra base side had a dominant performance in front of a full 25% capacity and Gyamfi has vouched for.
“It was a very difficult game but I think the better side won. We came into the game to win all three points but we lost but everything is possible.
However, the winger who led the Reds on matchday refused to give in on chase for the title with three matches left to conclude the season.
“The league is like a marathon and not yet over and three matches ahead of us.”
Asante Kotoko sits three points behind league leaders Hearts of Oak who are on 59 points.
