Ebusua Dwarfs recorded an impressive 4-1 away victory over Karela United at the Nduom Stadium on Monday afternoon.
Karela United were playing as the home side due to the ban placed on their favourite Crossby Awuah Park after their fans beat Medeama players few weeks ago.
Dwarfs knew that they needed to amass the maximum points to boost their chances of surviving in the Premier League, they were the better side right from the onset and looked very purposeful and determined to get a result.
Moro Sumaila grabbed the opening goal of the match to put the away team in the lead after 12 minutes with a beautiful strike. Dwarfs ended the first half with a 1-0 lead.
After recess, Sumaila struck again with a nice goal in the 49th-minute to put his team in a comfortable 2-0 lead before Enoch Affram also scored in the 67th minute to give Dwarfs a 3-0 lead.
Karmaradini Mamudu reduced the deficit for the home side in the 76th-minute before Moro Sumaila completed his hattrick in the 81st-minute to seal a 4-1 win for the Crabs in Elmina.
The win leaves Dwarfs at the 12th position with 37 points, while Karela drop to the 7th place on the log with 46 points.
Karela will travel to Sogakope to tackle Liberty Professionals in a matchday 32 encounter whereas Dwarfs face giants Hearts of Oak in Cape Coast.
