Former Division One League Board Chairman Lawyer Ntow Fianko has lauded the Ghana Football Association for slapping Lower Division side Phar Rangers with a ban.
The Ghanaian club after making pronouncement on withdrawing from the Division One League made a return to rescind their decision but has faced the wrath of the GFA Disciplinary Committee.
The FA has banned Phar Rangers 5-years including their Management, Board of Directors and all stakeholders.
Speaking in an interview Ntow Fianko says GFA decision to ban Nana Yaw Amponsah’s Phar Rangers and it’s Board of directors is a step in it right direction.
“The ban has come and it’s right because the club officially wrote to withdraw from all FA Competition so their second letter to rescind their decision was if no use.” – Lawyer Ntow Fianko told Angel 102.9 FM Floodlight Sports.
“The Disciplinary Committee is just a servant of the law, they are not the law makers so the just act according to what the law state. And I will urged the players to file a petition at the FA for the Player Status Committee to declare them as free agent.” – He added.
