The giant’s are close to appointing former Ghanaian International Anthony Baffoe as their new Managing Director.

Hearts of Oak SC have been without a Managing Director after asking Frederick Moore to proceed to indefinite leave months ago.

According to inside reports gathered by ghanasportspage.com, Board Chairman of Hearts of Oak led by Togbe Afede XIV have approached the hardworking Ghanaian to step in to help the club. The source says, talks between the two parties have advanced to peak and sooner or later make an official pronouncement on him.

Baffoe was the Deputy General Secretary since 2017, and was in charge of Football and Development at CAF.

Having resigned from the Confederation of African Football, the former FC Metz and OGC Nice defender tweeted to fans on twitter hinting on taking a new role in Ghana.

I decided 3 months ago that I will leave CAF as Deputy Sec Gen at the end of June -the time has come now  -today was my last day in office -thank you CAF -thank you Africa -Ghana here I come -God’s time is always the best πŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏπŸ™πŸΏβœŠπŸΏβœŠπŸΏ https://t.co/QzRWcJxOSB
