King Faisal FC striker, Kwame Peprah was named NASCO man-of-the-match award in his side’s 1-1 draw against city rivals Asante Kotoko.
Peprah, although was not on the scoresheet this time as he has been in many games for Faisal, he put up a show.
The young target man was a cut in the throat for the Kotoko backline throughout the game.
Following a phenomenal performance despite not scoring, Peprah was awarded the best player of the match, which is his 6th time this campaign.
The King Faisal talisman has had a marvellous individual campaign. Although the club has generally performed poorly and at the moment they are two points above relegation zone.
Kwame Peprah with his numbers fall into the conversation of player of the season in spite of Faisal’s struggles.
He is currently the second top scorer in the league with 14 goals sitting 2 goals behind Karela United main-man Diawisie Taylor.
The number 9 also have 9 assists to his name, 2 behind West African Football Academy(WAFA) player maker Augustine Boakye.
Kwame Peprah can probably end the season winning the goal king and also becoming the most assist provider with two games left to climax a wonderful season he’s had.
