Hasaacas Ladies completed the double over Ampem Darkoa Ladies to win the 2020/21 Women’s FA Cup title on Saturday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.
First-half goals from Doris Boaduwaa and Milot Abena Pokuaa were enough to give Yusif Basigi’s a 2-0 win over Nana Adarkwa’s ladies.
Hasaacas have now won a season double after beating the same opposition 4-0 in Madina to win the Ghana Women’s Premier League title.
Doris Boaduwaa scored the opener of the game in the 25th minute after picking up a through ball behind Ampem Darkoa’s backline and slotted into the left bottom corner of the net with ease.
Hasaacas scored a second through Millot Pokuaa in the 45th minute.
She bullied the ball off Uwaisa Mawia from the left side of the box and put it at the back of the net between goalkeeper Evelyn Yeboah and the near post.
Ampem Darkoa put up a better show in the second half trying to get something out of the game, especially towards the end but to no avail. It ended 2-0 in favour of Hasaacas Ladies in Accra.
