Ghana Premier league side King Faisal FC have reported referee Clement Kwame Nkuah to the Ghana Football Association (GFA)’s match review panel for denying the club a penalty against Asante Kotoko on Saturday.
The Greens in the said match recorded a one-all stalemate with the Porcupines at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.
Faisal in their report to the GFA claim that the main-man in the middle overlooked what they believe to be a penalty after Kotoko defender, Evans Appau shoulder off Kwame Peprah in the penalty box during the first half.
They added that Nkuah and his assistant referee, Gideon Adom Mensah, failed to rule out Francis Andy Kumi’s equaliser for Kotoko as offside.
Meanwhile, King Faisal will continue their pursuit to stay in the Ghana Premier League next season with two games to go.
The Kumasi based side will need a win to hit the 40 points mark, which will guarantee them first tier football in 2021/2022 season.
