Ghana captain, Andre Dede Ayew, believes he still got a lot in his locker and can compete at the height level in Europe.
“I feel that I have what it takes to play in the best divisions, whether it’s in England or France or Italy…you know, I don’t have a particular place,’’ he told Joy FM.
The 31-year-old is currently a free agent after his contract with Championship side Swansea run out in May.
Ayew despite confirming that many teams has shown interest in his signature including clubs from Asia and the Gulf; the ex-Marseille man said he is not in a rush to make a decision.
‘’I have the offers coming from the Gulf, the Asia side etc…so I need to take my time and make the right decision [not just] for me, but also for the nation.
‘’With all what we have coming ahead, I will take my time, look at [the offers] really well and hopefully more sooner than later we’ll all be clear on something because I know that my fellow brothers and sisters, all the Ghanaian people are waiting for the that with a lot of impatience,”
Andre Ayew was a standout for Swansea last season as he finished as top scorer for the club netting 17 goals.
Hence, the Blacks Stars skipper was named 2021 Player of The Year at the Ghana Football Awards on July 3.
