Inter Allies Head Coach, Felix Aboagye has tipped Hearts of Oak forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh to win this season’s best player award.
The Black Satellites forward has been magnificent for the Phobians in the ongoing season in recent weeks, having endured a difficult start to the campaign. The striker grabbed the headlines after scoring the only goal against Asante Kotoko in the matchday 31 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“I think Barnieh of Hearts of Oak has been exceptional, scoring important goals for them and he has also been able to carry the team in difficult times so I think he stands out this season to win the best player accolade,” Felix Aboagye told Starr FM.
“Without him, I don’t think Hearts of Oak will be where they are now though it’s a collective effort but he has been incredible this season for them and I think he is indeed one for the future and we need to keep our eyes on him.”
Hearts of Oak need a win their remaining two games to clinch the Ghana Premier League title.
