Cristiano Ronaldo claimed his first European Championship Golden Boot in the just-concluded EURO 2020 tournament.
Italy won the title after a nail-biting final played at Wembley on Sunday night, which had to be decided by a penalty shootout after the match ended 1-1 in normal and extra time.
It was the Portuguese star though that emerged with the highest number of goals, 5, despite his team being tossed out in the knockout phase.
The Juventus forward scored in all the group stage games, netting a double against both Hungary and France, and one against Germany.
He also chipped in with one assist, but could not help his side as they lost 1-0 to Belgium in the Round-of-16.
In second was Patrik Schick with five goals, while Harry Kane, who had a chance to either match or beat Ronaldo finished on four goals, same as Romelu Lukaku, Emil Forsberg and Karim Benzema.
