The Hearts of Oak gaffer has played down being puffed after winning first major title in his coaching career.
Samuel Boadu steered the Rainbow side to their first Ghana premier league (GPL) trophy since 2009 after joining the club midway through the season.
The ex-Medeama SC manager, has currently won 11 games, drawn 4 and lost 2 out of the 17 league games he has managed at Hearts of Oak.
Boadu weeks ago won the best coach award at the Ghana Football Awards and is now on the verge of winning the best coach in the GPL after clinching the ultimate.
“I would say I will not be swollen headed. I will make sure I work extra, this is a motivational win so it will prepare me well to go higher and higher.” He said following 1-1 draw with Liberty Professionals that confirmed Hearts of Oak as champions.
Samuel Boadu still have chance of winning the double for the Accra based side as they are in the quarterfinals of the domestic league cup.
