Hearts of Oak manager, Samuel Boadu has expressed delight after his decision to join the Phobians mid season turned out to be a good one.
Boadu resigned from Medeama SC to pen a three-year deal with the current Ghana Premier League champions.
While leaving the Yellow and Mauves, the Tarkwa side were second on the league log but left to take over fourth place Hearts of Oak and lead the latter to win the ultimate.
“I was second on the league table with Medeama SC before joining Accra Hearts of Oak, but sometimes in this life you have to take risk and achieve bigger things.” He told GTVsports
Hearts of Oak have won the Ghanaian top-flight with 61 points and a game to spare.
Samuel Boadu is in line to end the campaign with the double as his team is in the quarterfinals of the MTN FA Cup.
