Asante Kotoko SC manager, Mariano Berretto, has responded to claims about his supposed departure after the current campaign ends in August.
Barretto who signed a one-half-year deal with the Porcupines in March this year is reportedly on the verge of an exit after a short spell.
Asante Kotoko losing the Ghana Premier League (GPL) title to arch-rivals Hearts of Oak who trailed the former by 7 points at the time of Barreto’s appointment has ignited rumours about an early exit.
The former Black Stars manager in response says he will answer to speculation after the season finally comes to an end.
“I cannot talk about speculation. Speculation is speculation that’s all. When we finish all the match we will take a breathing then I can answer all the questions in this moment I cannot talk about speculation.” He told Nhyira FM
Mariano Berretto has won 11, lost 3, and drawn 6 of his 20 games in charge.
Kotoko despite failing to clinch the GPL still stand a chance of winning a trophy to climax their campaign.
Currently, the Reds are in the quarterfinals of the MTN FA Cup and have been paired with Berekum Chelsea.
