Asante Kotoko SC received a combine GHC 285,000 after their final game of the season against Elmina Sharks in Obuasi.
Kotoko in the said match lost 1-0 but walked away the huge amount from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and club sponsor, Hinsense.
Asante Kotoko placed second in the just ended Ghanaian top flight term with 57 points after 34 matches, which they won 15, lost 7, and drew 12.
The Reds after finishing as 1st runner-up were handed GHC 150,000 as price money by the GFA together with 40 silver medals.
Also, Home appliances and electronics company, Hisense, dashed the team GHC 135,000 as a reward for avoiding defeat in 27 matches.
The Porcupines obviously had a season to forget after losing the title to their bitter rivals Hearts of Oak but could crown their campaign with the domestic league cup trophy which they are in the quarterfinals.
