International Allies suffered a heavy defeat to Ashanti Gold in Obuasi on the final day of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Two own goals by Hashmin Musah completed a 7-0 humiliating scoreline to the ‘Eleven is to One’ lads at the Len Clay Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Allies before the match were already relegated with Ashanti Gold also safe from relegation, hence there was nothing at stake for both sides.
Issac Opoku Agyemang opened the floodgates for the home side inside 15 minutes and Amos Addai doubling the lead on the 26th minute.
Opoku grabbed his brace from the spot to wrap up a 3-0 at halftime.
Right after the break Addai added another to increase the lead to 4 before Opoku Agyemang completing his hat trick on the 77th minute.
The tempo of the game certainly was low but had to be very low after the away side went down by 5.
But for God knows what reason, Allies defender, Hashmin Musah deliberately passed into his own net twice on the 78th and the 82nd minute.
