Ghana’s Division Two side Debibi United FC, has confirmed that former Dinpa FM sports head and a seasoned sports journalist Richard Ntow Gyan has been appointed as new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Richard Ntow Gyan was previously the sports head at Akyeaa FM in Nkoranza and recently joined Adanse3 FM in Kumasi. The Debibi-based club plays in the Brong Ahafo region Second Division League- Tain/Banda zone.
The new CEO ,Ntow aims that, the club will be promoted to play in the National Division one league in the next two years. Ntow ,received his appointment letter as the new CEO of the club on Monday 19th July 2021 and has already commenced work for the club.
The new CEO of Debibi United, Richard Ntow Gyan, said: “I’m thrilled to be announced as the new Chief Executive Officer. I’ve always been passionate about the game’ and as a sport journalist I love football, so this is a perfect opportunity for me to continue to make a positive impact across Ghana”. Ntow told Ghanasportspage.com.
“I’m really looking forward to getting started and working with the various stakeholders across the game. All the while media coverage is continuing to grow season after season and I can’t wait to play my part in helping ensure development within the game”.
Richard Ntow Gyan was part of the management who qualified Eleven Wonders into the GPL in 2017/ 2018 in zone one.
