King Faisal FC bankroller, Alhaji Karim Grusah, says he has done a lot for city rivals Asante Kotoko SC more than the latter has done in return.
The veteran football administrator in his interview with Asempa FM last Monday said Kotoko wanted Faisal relegated after the former lost to Elmina Sharks, which put the latter in a delicate situation but managed a draw against Liberty Professionals to escape second tier football next season.
His comments did not sit well with the Porcupine supporters with some pointing to the fact that Kotoko offered their third choice goalkeeper and AFCON U-20 best goalie Danlad Ibrahim on loan to save Faisal’s season.
Alhaji Grusah in response told ghanasportspage that he has helped the 24 times GPL winners in terms of player transfer than he has received in the opposite direction.
“I’ve done a lot for them but they keep talking about only this. I gave them Opoku Afriyie, I gave them (Yussiff) Chibsah, Nana Frimpong….I have given a lot of players to Kotoko up to date. So they have done well for giving me one while I have given them 10? Come on they should clear off.” He told ghanasportspage.com
