Hearts of Oak goalkeepers coach, Eric Amponsah refused to comment on the club’s interest in Asante Kotoko goalie, Felix Annan.
The Ghana Premier League (GPL) champions are reportedly on a hot pursuit for the Black Stars B shot-stopper but the Phobians’ trainer steer clear from saying anything regarding the move.
Several reports claim the deal is close after Hearts of Oak made contact with the player’s representatives few weeks ago.
Annan has fallen on the pecking order at Kotoko despite been the captain on the side.
Currently, the 26-year-old seem like a third choice for head Mariano Barretto and featured only three times for the Reds in the just ended GPL season.
Speaking in an interview with Prestea based Energy FM, Amponsah said refused to give a bit into the transfer, saying he is not in charge of recruitment.
“In fact I don’t know anything about recruitment at the club. But at the moment we are working with four good goalkeepers.“ he said
